Speakeasy at the Wheaty

It was another great night at the Wheatsheaf on October 14. We laughed with and at Peter Beaglehole as MC, we visited Bulgaria and Egypt, and stalked foodies while drinking and eating and drinking and making new best friends for life. If you weren't there, imagine you were through the wonderment of digital photography:

Speakeasy on Air

In May, six Speakeasy readers headed to the recording studio at Coast FM to produce recordings of some of our favourite pieces for broadcast on Coast FM. In case you haven't been tuning in, you can hear the recordings here:

Speakeasy on Campus

Once again, Speakeasy readers old and new gathered at the Flinders Function Centre to share some of their new and exciting work. It was wonderful to see so many new faces, both at the microphone, and in the crowd, and to hear more from some of our amazing regular readers. It looks like it will be a top showing at our next public event at the Wheatsheaf (stay tuned for more details!)

Here's some photos from the afternoon:
